Looking forward to the game and may the best team win.
I have been reading the articles on here and it has a strange vibe about it.
Which team will you be supporting?
Half of you seem to want Rafa to get a result against you.
Is it the respect you have for him or the lack of respect you have for your present manager?
It sounds like you some of you are happy with the season as long as you are showing progress.
The funny thing about that idea is all the other clubs in the top 10 are in the same boat.
What is the difference between Chelsea and Liverpool? You must remember we both had finish outside the top four and we both won trophies.
Do you really want a win?

I have no problem with fans reminiscing good times and wanting a successful manager back in the future but using another managers success to slate a new manager is something i don't think should ever be done.
I wanted Hodgson out because we played dull football, he made poor signings and we were near the bottom of the table with Hodgson even admitting we were in a relegation battle. I did want him out because of how successful another manager was.

There was a quote made by Rodgers I did not agree with.
Just look at Chelsea – they finished sixth last season and had a net spend of £71million last summer in order to try to get back into the top four.
He failed to mention we no longer have our Drogba, Essien or Kalou. We had to replace them.
Liverpool still have Gerrard and Suarez. Plus you have added more to your team with Rodgers buys.

Essien and kalou were hardly big losses as i may be mistaken but didn't they hardly play last season? Although i agree with what you say about replacements as people always seem to forget sold players when talking about a teams spend.

Kalou played in the Champions League Final and was replaced in the 84th minute.
Give him some credit.

Fair enough i didn't realise he played that much

The team had problems mainly down to injuries.
We did not get as much game time out of Drogba either.

you talk about replacing drogba which you didn't do last summer but you still spent 70m. you then let Lukaku go on loan and in January you let Sturridge leave even thou he scored the same amount of goals as drogba the previous season (from a wide position)

Yes but look at the money your club spent under Daglish. You did not make 4th spot.

You have forgot one factor in that - starting point.
