It goes without saying that this has to be the most eventful Forest season that most of us can remember. I don't think I've ever had so many different emotion in one season.
Summer last year, no owners - uncertainty
New rich owners - relief and excitement
O'Driscoll appointment - flat
Influx of players - real hope
Steady start - content
Win against Leeds - real belief.
O'Driscoll sacking - confused
AMc appointment - gutted.
Jan - Feb - blurry
BD appointment - tepridation
6-1 against Huddesfield - game on.
Into the playoffs - jubilation
Draw against Blackpool - doubt
Lack of goals by strikers - frustrated
Loss against Cardiff - anger
Loss against Boro - realisation
Draw with Barnsley - reflection ....
Against Barnsley we rang out of luck. Last minute penalties, deflected goals, sending offs - we'd had our fair share of luck in the early BD run.
So we're in a position where we have win both games and really on other results. Looking back over the season I would have taken this situation but it seems a little disappointing now after the steamrolling charge up the table when BD joined.
Over all I'm content but really do feel that our strikers have cost us so many points. Cox - undeniable effort, Sharp - not mentally a Forest player anymore IMO and Blackstock - real let down since his contract.
Reflection

I think the funniest thing is this.
Billy comes in to this team that is absolutely devoid of confidence, sliding down the league after the Wolly Mark 2 and takes them without any additions to with a chance of the playoffs with 2 games to go, yet he has somehow failed.
Yet NLN who has done absolutely nothing with The Derby Team for the last 5 years, except the yearly battle against relegation, has supposedly done so much more and by no means has failed.
What a bunch of Planks, you have absolutely no idea!
Roll on next season if we don't go up this season (oh yeah we still have a shot at that don't we? ) As next season looks very optimistic for us, can you say the same?

Rev's in bits again....no comeback as he knows he jizzed all over his black gown when King Billy came back....and hes failed again with another expensive crop of players.
SBD...Why does next season look optimistic for you?...your well over budget and half the side go back to their own clubs after 2 more games. Billy wont like working to a budget yer know ...its why he left last time because Doughty told him he wasnt having anymore King Billy We would beat you tmoro no problem

Backo,
You seem to be gifted with some supernatural powers to be able to state as fact all those things that have not yet happened.
Why should next season not look optimistic ? Have you seen what our owners have been doing for the club and the "real" investments they have made around the ground ?
Do you actually know what the budgets will be ? No your just talking out of your backside. No one does or at least no one on this forum. So how can you say what he will or won't like working with ?
What seems clear is that Fawaz is willing to spend money and invest at a level that ND was not over the last few years.
Again how do you know who will leave at the end of the season and who won't ? Your just hoping and that's all. Wishful thinking that we will not be in a position to push for automatic promotion if we don't make it this year.
And how has BD failed again. It's not the end of the season so your again talking total nonsense. Its not his players, and they are not that expensive a set of players (again don't let FACTS spoil your arguments as none of the other sheep do) and as you point out plenty of loan players.
So how about stating your opinions as being just that. Not as fact, not as things you claim to know which no one can until they happen.
Or even more radical how about sticking to your own board where you can talk about your own club etc.... Or just come clean and admit your a closest Forest fan and that's why your on our board all the time.

FOF
Your wage bill far outweighs your income...half your side are loans. King Billy has had an expensive squad to work with...players on Prem wages...and played against 9 and 10 Men every other game. So he's struggling as O'Driscoll got sacked for being 7th. But one silver lining...expensive flops Miller and McGoldrick will be back in the summer
ITS NAE MY FAULT....ITS NAE MY SIDE...I NEED MONEY....MORE MONEY...
