Bale - I wish the Media would shut up!

I have to start off by saying the Bale is our best player and has been incredibly important to our season and this is not a gripe about him...

The thing that has been annoying me is the media's ignorance towards the rest of the team's performance and placing our success squarely at the feet of Bale.

For instance I was scouting the web for reviews of the weekends (fantastic) win and just keep finding endless articles along the lines of 'Bale sparks comeback win' etc.MOTD2 and Sky went on about Bale's emergence in the game and how he was the main reason for our win!

What about Tommy H's impact (or any of the subs), what about the stout defence after Man City's pressure, what about the motivation from AVB?

I know he has been brilliant this season and got a goal and an assist at the weekend but over the last few months you can't read a summary of Tottenham without seeing Bale's name. The rest of the team make it possible for Bale to perform!

Rant over.

Obviously Bale has been our outstanding performer this season, but the one man team argument is boring.

RVP was Arsenal#s best player last season, by some way, but Alex Song was an important player for them as well. I'm sure Koscielny performed well as well

This season we have had input from Lennon, Defoe, Sandro, Lloris etc...Adebayor

"its actually degrading to claim that 1 player is better than their entire first XI, so let them have it."

The concept is single-handedly carrying your team to a far better position by near always out-performing your team-mates.

That's a bit strong Sandy,bordering on hypocritical.

Oh get a life FFS sake, WTF are you doing on the Spurs board again spouting your usual drivel. If I am hypocritical over saying RVP carried the Arsenal team, then basically the whole country is.

I agree, that pleb Martin Tyler even had to recite that ridiculous 3 welsh teams joke, like that is even remotely funny.
