totally agree.

people forget that Bale was little more than average for half of the season we were being carried by defoes goals, and by dembele and sandro being awesome in cm.

Lennon has been unsung this season (even AVB said that in interview) .

agreed azza has had a fab season......so vital for us staying out on the 'chalk' adding real width/pace/threat.

No doubt Bale has been sensational this season, but it is really lazy journalism to say that Bale has done it all own his own he has not. What about important goals from say Dempsey, scoring against Man United in both games and another against City don`t they count. The team have all contributed, so I don`t take a lot of notice of what journalists and pundits say.

That's a bit strong Sandy,bordering on hypocritical.
The way you were spouting off about RvP being a one man team at Arsenal last season, funny that we are in the same position in the league as last season without RvP.

Personally I find the whole one-man team argument a bit pointless. Every team has it's good, bad and star players.

Stick RVP or Bale in San Marino's team and they'll still lose every game 5-0 +

"Personally I find the whole one-man team argument a bit pointless."

It is valid.
Just that Bale has not done it all season for Spurs, like Suarez/RVP this/last season for their teams.

Agree with everyone about the Azza point - when you have Bale/Lennon on the wings team have to play wide and it opens up the middle of the field for Dembele to get forward or Huddlestone to split the defense. That was always one thing that Redknapp understood as manager

Obviously Bale has been our outstanding performer this season, but the one man team argument is boring.

RVP was Arsenal#s best player last season, by some way, but Alex Song was an important player for them as well. I'm sure Koscielny performed well as well

This season we have had input from Lennon, Defoe, Sandro, Lloris etc...Adebayor

"its actually degrading to claim that 1 player is better than their entire first XI, so let them have it."

The concept is single-handedly carrying your team to a far better position by near always out-performing your team-mates.

Oh get a life FFS sake, WTF are you doing on the Spurs board again spouting your usual drivel. If I am hypocritical over saying RVP carried the Arsenal team, then basically the whole country is.

I agree, that pleb Martin Tyler even had to recite that ridiculous 3 welsh teams joke, like that is even remotely funny.
