We obviously need a striker but if Tottenham shell out a record fee for Benteke in the Summer I might just give up.



He's done well this season and in theory should get better, but for the amount of money he'd cost for someone who isn't the real deal I'm against it. With the players they'll be getting off their wage bill (given, Hutton, warnock, bent and Ireland) they won't even need to sell, easily looking at £20M+

Can see a possible cash + senior players + kids loan deal (Carroll etc) for this one.

Benteke will be too expensive if Villa stay up which they should do now.
Remy is an interesting option although you do worry about his injury record and the fact he was pretty useless before the QPR move
Martinez of Porto looks good especially with AVB's connections but the Porto tax is a bit like the Levy tax so it would end up in a staring contest ala Moutinho
I really don't know maybe we should concentrate on building a great midfield and keeping Bale then he can get the goals lol

remy spent most of last season injured, that's the reason he did poorly as he hardly played. Check your facts.
