Thing with Benteke is though he's an all round good striker. It's not like he's just a big target man like Andy Carroll for example.

You don't score 18 PL goals by accident. Hard to pass them off us fluke either. He's a top finisher, great in the air, quick and strong. His first season and is still very young.

3rd would be nailed if we had him in the squad.

Michu would fill the gap left by VDV and Benteke will replace the inept Adebayor. Spurs would be better off

Thing with Benteke is you dont need to watch the goals, you need to watch how he plays. He is an intelligent footballer with some very good movement. I always thought Carroll would be a flop as he was very stagnant and only suited a long ball team.

Benteke and Michu look very good players (for now). But anyone who knows their football have seen these types come and go through the years.

I'd prefer Benteke, but Michu is quality too. Great finisher, links up play, great header, technically excellent. Would be a great signing for us.

Giroud is a top striker, Spurs should buy him. Podolski on the other hand wouldn't improve Spurs so he's better of at Arsenal.
