Isco is way way out of our price range. £30m man. Absolutely top class.

Can we please sort the defence out first, then worry about strikers.

Tbf Chronic, you are quick to dismiss other peoples opinions when it comes to strikers, but offer no good alternative.

benteke will do. i have said that all along. we wont get him though as we wont be able to afford the money that villa will demand

No sandy, shh.

Benteke is pretty good and would be a big improvement, think we could get him personally.

Would much rather him than Daimaiaiiaiaiiaiaio

Ha I was just gonna say the same Edin. At least we know Benteke is now Premier League proven. Ideally you'd want someone proven over more than one season but who else is there?

Wouldn't mind David Villa too if it was ever possible to get him.

Is anyone believing the Baines rumours? Would that satisfy you Sandy?

Chronic, I would love an isco or Eriksson mate but what we are in need of are top quality strikers, they are not strikers. Hernandez is a superb striker that is probably realistic as he has no future at united especially if get get lewandowski.

Buy Remy ..here we go sorted

baines isnt great defensively. wouldnt say no to him though, clearly

Hernandez is one of the best strikers in the league in terms of getting important goals at crucial times. Look at how many times he's done it vs Chelsea and Liverpool

I hope we don't get the South Korean bloke. He looks very average.

Falcao would do

Remy would be good but not as a main main. Jackson Martinez has the AVB porto factor

I think this proven over one season is a bit of nonsense personally Spurtle. Lots of strikers had only one proven season in an even worse league and came to be ace.

i see hernandez as the option of the bench (defoe style), more than the main man.

if we are going to play with one up top, he needs to have much better all round play than hernandez, who is purely a finisher. infact thats literally all he has to his game

it's started

we've got 4 months of this

Fair point. Would you have defoe or hernandez in your team if you could only have one?

Edin I might be being slightly picky but it's always nice to rule out a player being a one hit wonder as so many have been - Benni McCarthy, Santa Cruz, etc.

you lot are never happy.

with £60 million from Bale sale buy 3-4 strikers.
in fact Higuain in part exchange..apparently his salary is amongst the lowest, around 40000€/ WEEK

Chronic used to pi ss me off. I think he's great now.

Have you ever seen a more demanding, argumentative facker in your life?

Facking brilliant!!!

Higuain is as good as we could possibly get, but once again wages are the issue

If we got Higuain I would eat my own face!

Santa Cruz is a shame tbh, he was a quality player who's career was ruined by Man City tbh. Had he gone to another club we would be talking about him no doubt.

Thing with McCarthey, Carroll is that despite them scoring you could tell they were slightly more one dimensional with how they play. Whereas some 'one-season wonders' you can tell are the real deal
