If you could only change one element ?

The debates are plentiful, the consensus mixed and the elements of our decline far too many.

Looking at our decline there have been many issues from players to CEO, to owners to managers and in an ideal world we'd all create our championship manager scenarios which mean new owner, new CEO, new DOF and an entire new squad.

Football isn't like that, Morgan cannot sell overnight, we cannot get rid of a bucketload of players overnight and you certainly cannot change all at the same time (nobody would buy the club, nobody would join the club etc).

My question - if you could only remove one element which one would it be ?
Which do you think by changing would have the most positive effect on our club ?

Choice one of - moxey, Morgan, Saunders or 6/7 players

We just need a good manager. The last three have been hopeless. A decent manager would have had us far higher up the table with exactly the same players. And if a decent manager was given over £10m to spend as Solbakken was then we would surely have been promoted back to the top flight

I agree with Crikey. The manager is the most important appointment at a club. Get a good one, and he will sort out the squad and the playing style.
I also agree with Herbert - Moxey just has to go. He is a fool, and he proves it every time he talks to the media. He talks utter nonsense.

Find out who is advising Morgan on his managerial appointments and have them shot at dawn.
Oh and Saunders.

I really think Morgan & Moxey only think in terms of 'how much is a new manager going to cost' without realising managers actually have different abilities & the best manager although probably the most expensive manager ,would probably make then the most money.

They certainly didn't appreciate Mick was getting exceptional performances from very average players. Yes Mick bought them...but with their severe restrictions.

In order of priority IMO you have to have the very best you can afford for the following or else you are screwed...

1) Manager
2) Keeper
3) Captain
4) Goalscorer

The rest are essentially just supporting roles

We are changing one element in the championship!
'Au'.
We're getting rid of it.

At the beginning of February Bolton with new manager Freedman were 20th - they should finish in the play offs.

Wolves were in a similar position with new manager Saunders - they will finish relegated,

Doesn't take an Einstein to draw the obvious conclusion - but for Morgan I'll spell it out.

Morgan - you,ve made a complete c.ck up again, the third one in a row.

Do us a favour and p.ss off

Simon - I can understand why you say that about Morgan giving the impression he wants to get low cost managers in. But what does not stack up to me is two things

1. His Redrow business would not have made him a multi millionaire if his priority in employing managers was low cost. To be successful like that he must realise the value of quality management.

2, If he invested in Wolves to make some money then the only way he will do that is by making us an established Premier League club then selling it on. That's the only way he can make a mint. So in that respect he wants the same as the supporters.

He has screwed up three times now appointing managers as Wolves chairman. I don't accept that's because he is not a football man because I suspect he has watched more football games in his lifetime than the vast majority of chairmen. But he is clearly not getting good advice on who would make a good manager for Wolves.

I agree Crikey - I dont doubt he's well intentioned.

But with his track record of choice of manager those good intentions are taking us back to the fourth division.

the season we spent 26 mill of the pitch , when it needed spending on it.

mick would have bought better players (on the whole)

no knee jerk to the 5-1 as it probaly wouldnt have happened, and the rest is history
