Do you think we can now understand just why SAF was so "distraught" after the Madrid game?
At the time is was horrible for all of us to see that Nani red card wipe out our European ambition for another year, but for the manager (if he had already made up his mind) it was robbing him of his last chance.

I was talking about Arsenal (currently in 4th spot) beating Bayern in March this year!

I'd have backed us against Gala, think Dortmund would have been 50/50 and likely lost to Bayern in the final, had we made it.

Arsenal beat a Bayern team that hardly looked like they were trying, they had already done the damage.

He was about 30 seconds from retiring at the end of last season and then Aguerro scored that goal and he had to stay on for another year. It's been all about the league this season and now it's all over.
