BT Sports

Does anyone know whats going on with BT sport next year?

Are they going to be showing the same matches as sky, or have they taken some in which case people will need both sky and BT?

If you are happy with long term contract with BT, then you might go for it. But, you are going to miss the Sky Movies though.

TOOR, i don't think there is so much variance in speed with different ISP's(top). I believe it depends on how far your house is from the exchange. Sky services are second to none.
--------------------------------------------
I had both Sky and BT from the same house, using the same exchange, as Sky use BT's lines anyhow, Sky was crap, BT was decent. I also tried Tiscali and Talk Talk who used BT's lines, they were crap too. When I called Sky to complain about getting a 0.1 speed when paying for 20mb, they blamed it on BT and said there was nothing they could do. I fought with them for weeks to get the MAC code from them.

I now have Virgin and the broadband is excellent.

I watch a lot of games on via Wiziwig also but when it comes to important games, I don't want to leave it to chance...you may not get a good stream, it may freeze, lag or buffer a lot or worse still, there may not be one.

Also I'm not only going to be paying for all the other crap my wife watches...I may as well get some of the good stuff too.

sounding like a bit of a bt loon here but in reply to a post above about watching footy over the broadband everyone will be in 10 years. this is because the satelite sky use is coming to the end of its life and when every bt line is fibre which is happening u will have no choice but to switch from the satelite to broadband coverage
