I think the final spot will be between Bresnan and Finn. But Bresnan can bat better.. well he is suppse to be able to. Rarely see it.. But England do like a strong batting line up.
usually worry about 3 seamers, but this is England and mid may..So shoud be help there. all we need now is enough time in the game for a result.

The problem is the showers.. Maybe clear, then you lose an hour to a shower depending on how long it lasts.

Anyone remember that test match , I think it was against sri-lanka.. the showers timed themselves perfectly everytime play was about to begin. then finally it stopped and the umpires took tea for some unknown reason.. that was the most annoying day ever.

What ARE you on about? Vaughan is talking up his client is all. And why not? Both players have an average in the low thirties because they have just STARTED to play test cricket!! Root has played only 4 games, Bairstow 6. ..give them a chance. By the by, Root has played a heck of a lot more ONE DAY cricket and averages 81 - food for thought
