Sky have reported that leicester & forest have had a 2million bid accepted for miller. Looks like an interesting battle ahead to see which club can convince him they have the best chance of offering premiership football next season!

Strettea red - we aren't? Please correct me if there's someone in our ranks I've overlooked with a better scoring pedigree?

Care to back that up with stats?
Here's a few for you. Marcus Tudgay's goals average at about 0.23 per game, McGoldrick's at 0.17. Lewis McGugan comes in at 0.21 a game, but leading the pack is young Joe Garner at 0.26 goals per game. Let's compare that to say, our old pal Robert Earnshaw who averages at 0.41, and Bristol City's Nicky Maynard at 0.44 and our prospects begin to look a little bleak. Leeds utd have Becchio who averages at 0.4 per game, and Cardiffs second striker, kenny Miller at 0.35 per game. Even Derby's Theo Robinson has a better scoring rate that any of our players at 0.28. I could go on but I think I've proved my point.

My average would be at least 0.8.

Ok, I see your point. My tongue was firmly in cheek with regards to Joe being our only "recognised goal-scorer" and my intention was to merely highlighted our inadequacies upfront. My opinion, although I'd be delighted to be proved wrong, is that we don't have any strikers who cut the grade.

He is wrong, Garner's hardly a recognised goal scorer either!
