Yes, it's now upon us!!!

The new season starts tomorrow and I for one cant wait! Only two topics caught my eye to discuss today

Town turn down the chance of a Pre Season Friendly with New York Cosmos. This was revealed last night at the Patrons Meeting, it got tweeted, and I for one was quite surprised about this.

But the big news is that Sheff Weds are on the verge of signing Benik Afobe on a season long loan. This was revealed in today's ever true Sun Newspaper, but it still suprised me a little, as I expect him to move up to the Championship.

In other news, I go to V Festival in 2 weeks and my tickets still have not arrived yet. Others seem to have theirs, but mine are still no-where to be seen.

He didn't score at OT...so it was all pointless in the end.
I agree that if we are going to play proper footy this time, then Afobe wud prob be more prolific, but LC blew it and left him going back to Arsenal knackered and injured...while t'other forwards were sat on the bench week after week.

God, I hope he has sorted something out for this season...like tactics.

Not really, as we wouldn't have gone up with other teams performing the way they did.

Would that be other "smaller" teams??

Size means nothing and you know it!

Would you rather.....

A, beat United twice and get relegated?
B, lose to United and go up?

finally some banter on our boards haha. sheff wednesday will be a laugh a minute again this season they wont cut it with the big boys like town and mk dongs! another easy 6 points.. afobe or no afobe

Don't want to worry you, but no pre-season favourite has gone up as champions since League 1 came into existence.
