Simply one of the most overrated footballers of this generation.
I'm currently watching the Rome derby between Lazio and Roma in the italian Cup Final and the so-called "golden boy" is spending more time rolling around on the pitch than kicking the football itself.
Sure he comes up with the occasional spectacular goals but when you look at the best italian players of this generation , Totti wouldn't make my top 20.

Totti was one of my favourite players in the Serie A for a few years, in the 2000-2005 period he was class and I was somewhat hoping we would go in for him. His link up play was excellent.
Yes he isn't the player he used to be, however he's getting on now, he's what? 36/27?

Totti is a great player, but I do agree with one point the OP made....he wouldn't get into my top 20....but that is only because reaching the Top 20 greatest footballers of all time is a ridiculous feat.
