bite their hand off... he is not top 4. he is good and will make that fee look cheap but if he stays here we will not grow and i think the move is good for him and us. take the money and don;t go mad when he's a 15mil player in a few years.


this is the exact same as ince. ince would never play for lfc if he stayed, a couple years in the championship and he's an 8mil player?

There are these things called squads. Not everyone will be 'top4' starting quality. Most of the Spurs squad don't qualify as 'top4' and they finished 4th last year.

Good point TKT, but you have to understand what MITO is trying to say and i kinda agree with him. We are never gonna give Jonjo the minutes to show what he can do so it will be good for Shelvey if he moved on but we might regret it or want to re-sign him in a few years (Tom Ince anyone?).

I just get annoyed when people think every other side is 23 top quality 'stars' when even title winners have a lot of players who wouldn't improve the sides below them if they were signed as starting XI.

Agree. its about squad. Good adequate cover in all position(s). And We are no where near that.
