I think you'd find certain people's response to Dubbed is not because he is merely an Arsenal fan - though if the cap fits- but because Dubbed has priors; he is a recidivist who only employs one method of debate (and that method is not based on empirical fact or logical reasoning).

I often find those that begin a statement with 'with all due respect'. actually have no respect for their interlocutor.

As for getting of one's 'high horses', perhaps the view up high is infinitely better than it is on the ground?

That last sentence just proves what I am saying. It's indeed very difficult to get into a discussion with a Utd fan on this boards without someone using some kind of belittling language if he disagrees with you. If you have a different opinion, it's because you are a childish gooner.

Anyhow, i don't mind certain Gunners, i consider myself above whamming so i don't get involved in it.

That being said, even the most ardent of Gunners must admit that the notoriety on ja606 that pertains to Gunners is primarily of their own doing.

Dubbed for instance, he is clearly a smart chap. But very regularly, he resorts to hurling juvenile insults at his interlocutor. Dubbed is clearly articulate enough to do without that but he seems to relish such nonsense and such nonsense pervades the entire ja606, particularly the Arsenal board.

No, this isn't about being sensitive mate. I have seen Dubbed being patronised for having a contrary opinion here for days and I just felt it's time I stepped in. Am just pointing out something I have see among the mancs and I don't know why you are being so defensive.

Jesus wept it was nothing but a bit of banter and not only that, the Arsenal board is like a playground at times. It's why you hardly ever see me on there.
