Of course teams sell players. But teams like Wigan and Newcastle sell players for profit. They earn most of their money from selling stars. When Real Madrid bought Sneijder I don't think they bought him only to sell him a few seasons later. Same with Arsenal. They buy players to improve them.

And i'll also write a sell mikel article if he doesn't score next season in at least one competition. Diarra is a headless chicken and this is shown in the fact that he's failed anywhere close to the top level

Nigeria aren't a bad team, and I'd rather be starting and be an important player for them than being ignored for the French squad because I'm not good enough.

No its not the same with Arsenal and Real. They both have different philosphys when buying.
Real buy players to win them trophies at an instant.
Arsenal buy players to develop them.

But they DONT buy players because they want to sell them for profit later. This is what a sellling club would aim to do.

Well Arsenal buy players and always sell them at a Profit . They are a selling club arnt they?

That's because they buy players at cheap prices all the time while we and Madrid would be more likely to buy players 10-20million+. When Arsenal buy players as cheap as they are if they are sold they would of corse make profit. But when Arsenal signed Adebayor, Fabregas, Nasri etc. They wouldn't sign them in the hope they could eventually sell them, they would sign them so they could become their star player. When Wigan sign N'Zogbia and Valencia for peanuts ideally they will want to sell them off for profit and get another person like them.

In fact (doing my research) last time Diarra was even included in a French squad was in October.
