Hi and welcome to the Tri-Series tournament being played in the West Indies
Teams involved:
Sri Lanka, India and, of course, the West Indies.
India probably going in as favourites, with West Indies and Sri Lanka level pegging.

Pakistan – the tournament has not yet started, and they have already been eliminated.
South Africa – Unable to take part due to aging players and no youth squad..
Australia – The selectors committee just sacked themselves.
Fixtures:
28\06 West Indies v Sri Lanka at Kingston
30\06 West Indies v India at Kingston
02\07 India v Sri Lanka at Kingston
05\07 West Indies v India at Port of Spain
07\07 West Indies v Sri Lanka at Port of Spain
09\07 India v Sri Lanka at Port of Spain

I wonder if sponsors have reserved the option to pull out of the playoffs if a certain team doesn't get there.

Can India win big today?

If Gayle gets going, it would be early flight back for India. He is due one big innings. India's bowling is average at best.

I am guessing India wants WI to beat SL.

So, India made it to the final to play SL for the thousandth time?
These triangular series lose their pizazz when the host team is eliminated.
Would have like WI vs Ind.

The final was quite engrossing in the final moments.
Dhoni must be the best ODI finisher in history by a long margin over the next competitor, even when considering the likes of Bevan.

The finish was insane, 15 needed in 6 balls and 9 down and he wins the game. Is there any thing he can't do in ODI cricket? I think SL have Dhoni phobia. They seem to lose to India in every final. Congratulations to India. Yes Dhoni by far the best finisher, ODI player and captain.
