David Price gets his rematch with Tony "The Tiger" Thompson this Saturday, but will he be still suffering from the psychological affects of that shocking KO defeat from the hands of the Tiger?
Thompson 41, is a tricky southpaw who has challenged Wladamir Klitschko twice for his heavyweight crown, getting stopped twice but gave Wlad a very tough fight out first time around till he got tired and then put away in the 11th.
Price, Olympic Bronze medallist, had a storming start to his pro career. A monster at 6'8" and weighing in around the 245lbs mark, had a string of early KOs and seemed like a murderous puncher.
Unfortunately this seemed to stunt his boxing development, rely too much on his power and offence and did not gain that much experience.
A savy veteran such as Thompson took advantage of this. "The Tiger" did not cower in front of Price's big punches, they did trouble him but he kept his composure, as he had been in situations like this before, worked the his jab. Price naively still marching forward still looking for an early KO walked into a cuffing right hook to the chin/neck.
Price down, but he managed to beat the count, but he was doing his chicken dance and the ref rightfully waved it off.
Price who has been working with former heavyweight undisputed world champion and ATG Lennox Lewis is out for redemption and to get his promising career back on track a another defeat to Thompson could spell curtains.
With the help of Lewis, who suffered his own shock KOs, could Price get redemption, or will "The Tiger" be great once more and end chinny Price's career before it has really got started?
Will the Price be Right this Saturday?

and how is price chinny? the shot was at the top of the head a good 7-8 inches away from his chin, fact check

Thompson's left hook perforated his ear drum.
Haye punched himself out rather than having a weak chin. The former is a lot easier to than the latter.
Chinny is to do with a fighter ability to take a punch.

Price had become a victim of poor match making with the likes of McDermont, Skelton and Fraudly who were just there for the pay day. Thompson was clearly a step up and took advantage of a complacent Price.
The good aspect is that Price went for an immediate rematch and is now taking advise from Lennox which could be a great combination. From what Lennox has been saying we will see less explosives from Price from now on and more of a gameplan fight.
I reckon Price will knock him out 7th/8th round.

Price to KO him inside 5.
He rushed his punches in the first fight, maybe being too confident and looking too hard to stop him early.
Expect to see him more conservative and try to time his punches this time rather than looking to be the guy throwing the first punch

Price in rounds 7-9.

Lennox had a great jab, so I expect Price to be using his jab a lot more this fight, boxing to his strength and boxing more conservatively until Thompson starts rocking.
Price by stoppage in the 10th.

Correction:
It was Thompson's right hook

Expecting Price to be cautious to begin with, using this jab and winning for first 3 rounds.
I think from 6 onwards he'll go for the knockout.
Expecting an extremely cautious opening from him.
