the first ko looked so odd, i know hw fighters hit hard and a shot like that can massivley effect your equilibrium but still looked really strange. I think price will win this one maybe by points and hopefully like haye did he can turn a shocking ko loss around and be a better fighter for it
be great once more and end chinny Price's career before it has really got started?
-----
and how is price chinny? the shot was at the top of the head a good 7-8 inches away from his chin, fact check
Thompson's left hook perforated his ear drum.
Haye punched himself out rather than having a weak chin. The former is a lot easier to than the latter.
Chinny is to do with a fighter ability to take a punch.
Price had become a victim of poor match making with the likes of McDermont, Skelton and Fraudly who were just there for the pay day. Thompson was clearly a step up and took advantage of a complacent Price.
The good aspect is that Price went for an immediate rematch and is now taking advise from Lennox which could be a great combination. From what Lennox has been saying we will see less explosives from Price from now on and more of a gameplan fight.
I reckon Price will knock him out 7th/8th round.
Price to KO him inside 5.
He rushed his punches in the first fight, maybe being too confident and looking too hard to stop him early.
Expect to see him more conservative and try to time his punches this time rather than looking to be the guy throwing the first punch
Lennox had a great jab, so I expect Price to be using his jab a lot more this fight, boxing to his strength and boxing more conservatively until Thompson starts rocking.
Price by stoppage in the 10th.
Correction:
It was Thompson's right hook
Expecting Price to be cautious to begin with, using this jab and winning for first 3 rounds.
I think from 6 onwards he'll go for the knockout.
Expecting an extremely cautious opening from him.
Price has come in heavy at 250lbs, and Thompson weighed in at 259lbs.
