It would appear that we have done a deal with Olympiakos for Rafik Djebbour and he is due to have a medical tomorrow.
This is the striker that has been talked about on twitter for the last week or so. Hassan Saef who is linked to Fawaz said a deal had been done for a striker from a European League who scored over 20 goals last season. He confirmed he was due to have a medical tomorrow.
Natalie Jackson has tweeted this evening that the striker is from Greece. He is the only player to have scored 20 goals in Greece last season so you would think it's him.
Don't know a lot about him but he seems to have a fantastic record at Olympiakos and has Champions League experience. Could turn out to be a fantastic buy.

Why agree a fee and wages and fly all the way over just to decide that you don't want to do a medical? Is this guy for real?!
I was reading on wikipedia (to my obviously in awe girlfriend hearing about Forest again...lol) about him being a nutter and well...looks like he is a nutter after all!!!
He looked a cracking player and scored some important goals in the Champions League so was always going to be a big ask for him to join, but he knew all of this already?!
Maybe he doesn't like his prostate being tickled!? Ridiculous to think that he wouldn't do a medical, completely agree (if that is the case) that we stood our ground and didn't play along with his BS.
This might be a lucky break in the long run, could see him having a good season and doing a Ba, Benteke etc...demanding a move because your agent / ego thinks you are miles better than what you are.
What a waste of time, I hope Guedioura gives him a slap next time he sees him!!!

Either that or Boyd tipped him off about the 'full' medical
Hope we move fast to secure a striker; surely a plan B is in place. Like others, finding it hard to fathom why Billy Sharp hasn't been snapped up!
