Dangerous Game!

City and Chelsea look strong already whilst United look significantly weaker. We have lost our best asset (SAF) and we have yet to sign any one of note. This is extremely dangerous. The longer time passes the more unlikely it looks we will improve our playing staff. Will Nani and Rooney both leave? If so, are Welbeck and Zaha able replacements? I am surprised we have not seen a signing yet with any significance. I hope we will see someone of the Modric mold brought in because our midfield is stale and won't compete with the likes of Chelsea's, City's and even Spurs and Arsenal's midfield. This is dangerous and we must bring in at least 2 class midfielders if we are to compete for a top 2 finish.

Even without Rooney we can still play a very strong side for a few more weeks. We'll be fine and will sign a big player or two.

People who genuinely think we're going to struggle are the type of people who take an umbrella into the desert in case it rains.

Chelsea and City both have directors of football that usually highlight and carry out their transfers.

At least it seems our owners are keeping with tradition and letting Moyes call the shots

DTKF - Too right, so sad Hargreaves was crocked when he joined us. Bayern knew that for sure. He was one of the first players on their teamsheet.
What a player he could have been for us over a number of years.

It's funny because I never felt Hargreaves ever had a good game (brilliant game) for us in the centre of the park.

He was much better IMO on the right side.

Football, yeah it was such a shame as he really was a class midfielder.

Rob, if that's our team next season this board will go into meltdown.

I think that Kagawa is going to be a real star for you. He plays well behind the striker in a free, creative role. I watched him in the tournament in Brazil and he was so comfortable on the ball in that free role. I said to my mates who are Utd fans that Rooney will be looking over his shoulder.

SAF will still be involved. Although i am Liverpool fan i lived in Manchester for 9 years. My old job involved catering at Old Trafford. SAF once came into work on xmas day. He was the the only person in the ground apart from security. The guy breathes Man U

I used to chat to Wilf McGuinness in the catering lounge and he said to me that he reckons Fergie will be turning up at training and will find it hard to not get involved.

I think you will do fine. The club is built on success and the winning mentality with the demand and expecatation from the fans and media drives them on.

I can't see City and Chelsea running away with it. I think Utd will be right up there. Give us a few years and you will hopefully looking over your shoulders as your rivals will be hot on your tail
