Putting My Neck Out...

I believe and have a hunch that we will sign no one significant in midfield this summer. Thiago was never going to happen as predicted..And I'll predict now that Fabregas is also a pipe dream. I would like us to sign Modric but I doubt that would happen too.

In my opinion based on past transfer windows, Some Utd fans will end up unhappy after this transfer window. Top players simply don't favor United anymore, only on the rare occasion they would leave. The likes of Fabregas and Modric are at better teams, so it would make little sense to leave. Modric may like the test at Madrid and Madrid being Madrid never need to sell. The best midfielders are simply stock pilled at Madrid, Barca and Bayern and we have a bats chance enticing them here.

If things don't go according to plan, we can always buy in Jan window. I believe we should give our youngsters a chance.

Wow, I commend your bravery and agree wholeheartedly. But these boards will burn down from the Moyes out articles.

I cannot even defend slightly matured players let alone young untested ones. I believe will Keane, adnan, petrucci could be fantastic for us with one at least panning out. But nobody wants that. New and shiny is the theme and you honestly cannot blame people with the way Fergie left things.

If Moyes was brave he would just stand pat and see what he has because we do have a squad which is brilliant if applied correctly.

I agree with Tomatoes there.

Except his odd using of the words 'stand pat'.

I think you're confused. It wasn't me who posted the highlight reel of this latest match.

It's just peer pressure....city chelsea etc buying...we should also buy.

They bought players so that they can compete and challege us. We just need small tweaks and we have 6 to 7 weeks of window remaining for that.....

Hahaha....I don't think so. Our board is much more matured and sensible than those silly juvenile gooners over here....

Are you sure?

I almost want us to not sign anyone just to see the fallout then the fallout from when we beat Chelsea with all these shitt players we supposedly have.

We've never bought te best on the continent before because we're not prepared to pay top dollar on wages and fee in comparison to other clubs.

We're tight fisted and like to haggle and that stance is gonna have to change.

The Glazers are business men, a business family. They purchased MUFC for the long term and the oil money and Oligarch money has not prevented us being successful.
It may have prevented us being able to compete for certain players as we don't throw silly money away for nothing.
The day will come when the club negotiates it's own TV/Internet rights and that is a massive cash cow, one which I believe is the main reason why the Glazers are in it for the long term. When that happens and the legions of United fans around the world watch live games on their tvs, tablets, phones the revenue made will be stratospheric.
I don't care be we are and will remain the biggest club, begrudgingly along with Real Madrid
