Can't believe I've just found out that Christian Benitez has died from a car crash! Such a shame, was deffo loved by majority during his time at St Andrews.

RIP shocking news am very surprised that it hasn't got more publicity!

We are one bug football family... Such tragic news and my condolences go to him and those he has left behind

Truly shocked, as others have said he was loved even when he'd had a bad game, which was rare.

Remember his last game against Burnley when he scored, just how much it meant to him and it just showed how much he loved it here, remember him kissing the badge and pointing to all 4 stands of St Andrews.

More than deserves a minutes silence on Saturday.
