another site claiming it was complications relating to appendicitis. Either way, still a sad loss.

Awful news.
R.I.P. Chucho, you will be sadly missed.
Donny Fan in Peace. Never good to hear this sort of news never mind at just 27 years of age.
R.I.P.
My condolences to his family and all that are effected by this sad news at BCFC
Insane to read this. I'm a firm believer that we should have seen more than one season from him. Horrible news.
Yeah Brummer, we deffo should have seen more from him, was deffo a team player, worked so well with Jerome, was a fan favourite. No matter what he did I could still never dislike the guy.
Sad sad news and such a young age....you gave me great pleasure watching you in the blue of Blues....RIP Chucho
Terrible news...
RIP Chucho!
I was gutted when Blues didn't sign him.
The article I read says he has tragically died at the age of 27 after suffering a heart attack.
Can't help wondering if it had anything to do with the heat... 42-43°C there this week.
Very sad news. I was only saying to my dad the other week, that I wished we could sign him back on. R.I.P.
Just read there will be a minutes silence for him on saturday. Quite rightly so. KRO.
RIP shocking news am very surprised that it hasn't got more publicity!
We are one bug football family... Such tragic news and my condolences go to him and those he has left behind
Truly shocked, as others have said he was loved even when he'd had a bad game, which was rare.
Remember his last game against Burnley when he scored, just how much it meant to him and it just showed how much he loved it here, remember him kissing the badge and pointing to all 4 stands of St Andrews.
More than deserves a minutes silence on Saturday.
R.I.P Chucho
Sorry to hear about Chucho's passing.
RIP
Really sad to hear this news ... thoughts are with his family at this difficult time
R>I>P Chucho. Thoughts are with your family
