I know I won't be able to sleep tonight. It's be a restless night waiting for Football Santa to deliver the new season.
It's been a long, long time since I've been this confident about promotion. We really do have a great squad. We finally have pace and different attacking options. We're not riddled with loan signings. I'm sure we'll get a few in - not counting Jack Hobbs as a loan - but we won't loan out of desperation.
We have a lot of options at the back so everyone will be constantly playing for their places. So we don't have the so called 20 goal a season golden ticket. We have goals throughout the squad and if every midfielder and striker banged in 5 or 6 each we'll be fine. Cardiff and Hull managed. Better to have a lot of options.
Historically we start slow. And because of early Billy tinkering I expect the same this season but ultimately I honestly feel we are going up.

Do u think so Webbo? I can see 4-3-3 but with Mackie and Cox as wide players and Hendo through the middle. I suppose Derbyshire can play as wing forward but I can also see Paterson getting a start. Saying that, 4-3-3 sounds far too attacking for Billy in first game of season. More like 4-5-1 with Reid, Geddy, Moussi, and Raddy in midfield.

I think he'll go 442. I really can't see Moussi getting near the team for a while. I think it's be Lansbury, Pep, Reid and Paterson in the middle. Derbyshire and Mackie / Cox up front

Its the start of the season tomorrow
or do you really not fancy derbys upcoming season?
In 28 hours we get to see what the league is made of. Not just exciting to see how we'll our imprived team fares, but how the rest of the league starts.
Will QPR be the giants the Prem fanboys have been hyping over? Will any of the prem teams live up to the hype? will the lower league boys even compete?

I'm peed off with how early the season is starting. I haven't been on holiday yet and it is still Cricket season so my youngest is missing the match. It's just wrong to start so early.
Having said that, Derby have a stronger squad this year than last so we will get more points and be thereabouts the playoffs come seasons end. Don't write us off.
As for you bunch of deluded fools. It only takes a couple of defeats for your owner to become unstable. If you think last season was a revolving door then you ain't seen nothing yet.
