According to sources close to Spurs, Harry Redknapp is a fan of the 22-year-old and is keen to make a move for the midfielder before the close of the transfer window.

Redknapp views Ki as a readymade replacement for Modric, but a move for the South Korean could materialise irrespective of the Croatians future.

on another note it was clear yesterday that we need a target man striker to mix up our play and i would like to see us going for Carlton Cole. A fee of around 4 million has been said to other clubs interested. He is good in the air, quick, strong only 2 years ago he was touted as a 20 million taget man and a call up to England. Also if we don't sign the Polish goalkeeper i would like to see us go for Randolf at Motherwell been impressed with him last season and should be fairly affordable or even bringing Marshall back i have always been a fan of him and who can forget his display against Barca.
