Spurs plot Ki bid.

Apparently Harry has been looking at our young Korean star Ki. The Website is a English fans networking site. There are no quotes but it is always interesting to see how much the English value or players.

The fee talked about is 8 million. I wouldn't want to sell him just now but money talks and if the rumour was to be true i can't see us knocking back that type of money.

Tottenham are weighing up a £8m bid for Celtic star Ki Sung-Yueng.

The South Korean international has become an integral member of Neil Lennons side and his assured performances in midfield have not gone unnoticed in North London.

According to sources close to Spurs, Harry Redknapp is a fan of the 22-year-old and is keen to make a move for the midfielder before the close of the transfer window.

The Old Firm side will be reluctant to sell one of their prized assets, but an offer in teh region of £8m could be too good to turn down.

But Redknapp has been told by White Hart Lane chief Daniel Levy he'll need to sell before he can bid for the talented youngster, who has been previously linked with Liverpool.

The Spurs gaffer will look to offload Peter Crouch, Robbie Keane, David Bentley and Wilson Palacios to free up space for the Celtic schemer.

Meanwhile, according to Sky Sports, Chelsea will make a third offer for Spurs wantaway midfielder with a bid of £30million.

Last season's Premier League runners-up have already failed this summer in approaches of £22m and £27m for the Croatia international.

The latest offer is also likely to be rejected, as Spurs continue to adopt their tough 'not for sale' stance over the 25-year-old.

Redknapp views Ki as a readymade replacement for Modric, but a move for the South Korean could materialise irrespective of the Croatians future.

on another note it was clear yesterday that we need a target man striker to mix up our play and i would like to see us going for Carlton Cole. A fee of around 4 million has been said to other clubs interested. He is good in the air, quick, strong only 2 years ago he was touted as a 20 million taget man and a call up to England. He started on the bench yesterday at West Ham and they have also just signed John Carew.

Also if we don't sign the Polish goalkeeper i would like to see us go for Randolf at Motherwell been impressed with him last season and should be fairly affordable or even bringing Marshall back i have always been a fan of him and who can forget his display against Barca.

thoughts and opinions welcome
