After watching the SSN paper talk this morning the guy who was doing it seemed pretty certain that we'll move for Fellaini because the guy in the Mirror who broke the story has been spot on all summer regarding transfers.
I think most people on here would be happy with Fellaini coming as he offers so many different things for us. He's a guy who has excellent technique, passes the ball well, is a threat at set pieces, has a great shot and sees United as a step up so will have that extra determination to win trophies.
Plus Moyes knows him inside out and most importantly of all, Fellaini is a proven big game player.
Once we sign him then we begin to look a more complete squad, even with Rooney sold. Perhaps we'll be in the market for one more player after Rooney goes or perhaps Moyes will give Welbeck and Hernandez more game time. Either way, we'll be fine because Sir Alex left Moyes with one of the best squads in football.
Hurry up Fellaini, let's bring some cheer back to this place!
Here's a youtube video that might convince some doubters about the guys technique... (On the 4 minute mark watch him embarrass Yaya Toure)

Is it any coincidence that we started dominating the latter stages of the CL once Carrick came?
No, because that's when Ronaldo came.

Fair enough but how many of those did Roy Keane play before he joined United?
Not saying Fellaini is in Keano's class but sometimes a player needs a move to a bigger club to fulfil their potential.
Keane always looked good when playing the big teams while at Forest and if I remember correctly he played in a cup final. So has Fellaini and he more than held his own against Chelsea.

Eventually we'll fill our squd with average player and the average players we do sign would not improve**
& then you'll go back to supporting a London team no doubt.......

And yet we didn't dominate Europe (or even win many knockout games) with Giggs, Scholes and Beckham bar 1999.

Fellaini is very much over-rated, good player but not worth up to £20m.
