The same guy from the mirror who reported we'd go for Sweinsteiger if we couldn't get Fabregas?

posted on 7/8/13

I don't think it's the same guy.

Who is this guy from the mirror? Robb stop making up things.

Wouldn't mind him tbh. Still not in the same class as Cesc, but that deal seems dead in the water. I think a few fans will be disappointed with that, and see Fellaini as a step down. I think he'll offer us something different, and he certainly does improve our midfield options.

This is John Cross. The Schweinsteiger guy was someone else.

Be a top top signing for us, I'm certain of it.

There's no way we're going to just get him though if Rooney did go. If Rooney forces a move then I can see us going for another top player to help soften the blow.

Fellaini? Oh please no. We already have a slow midfielder in Carrick. Don't need another slow player there.

I'm sure we'd like a top player to soften the blow but who is a top player that is realistically available?

We might have to wait until next summer when some more of them become available.

He's a guy who has excellent technique, passes the ball well, is a threat at set pieces, has a great shot and sees United as a step up so will have that extra determination to win trophies.

What a load of tosh

Clueless.

We're gonna have to agree to disagree because you famously underrate the guy and it'll be up to him to persuade you otherwise.

He isn't an massive improvement over Carrick whose position he will take
We need a dynamic midfielder.
Carrick and Fellaini won't start together. That is too defensive and we rarely play 2 defensive midfielders.

Robb, he's tall and great at set pieces but that's about it

Wayne (speaks) Bobbins

And what is Cesc then? Usain Bolt?

Fellaini can move mate for a big guy. He can be our Yaya Toure. Box to box midfielder who gets goals.

I'm certain he won't be the only player we get either. I can see us getting somebody class in to replace Wayne if he goes to Chelsea.

Are you insane? You think we'd spend £22 million on Fellaini and not start him next to Carrick?

I know there's a stigma about youtube videos on here but watch that video in the OP and then tell me he doesn't have great technique.

Rates Anderson and Not Fellaini.

Aagin speaks volumes about you that does.

Look at these two idiots Rob and SE85
Fellaini can be our Yaya?
The guy is a crab. No matter how good his passing is he is too cumbersome.

Wayne, it'll be funny to see you backtrack as per usual when the season starts.

posted on 7/8/13

Plus he won't last more than 60 minutes in the champions league.
He gets off his hacking and kicking in the league but not at the top level.

I never seriously thought we were gonna get Fabregas, it was just fantastical posturing to support the new manager.

If Fabregas/Thiago had never been linked to us then I would have been delighted with the signing of Fellaini. Of we do sign him I will be equally pleased!!

I think anyone who genuinely believed we would ever prise Fabregas from Barca needs to see a therapist.

Well one of my bests mates is a die hard city fan and season ticket holder and he has told me that for the last few years Fellaini has been best player on the pitch against them time and time again. So it's not just United he does it against.

He's not as cute on the ball as Fabregas and Thiago, there's no doubt. However, he's still a few levels above some of our midfielders.

I'll be pleased if we get him.

It's better to delete Waynes posts because he just ruins articles with his douchebaggery.

Fellaini has this reputation as a hatchet man all of a sudden because of one game against stoke, who it seems ate happy to give but cant take it. People are so easily swayed by MOTD
