Matej Vydra and all things transfer window

Matej Vydra is apparently due in for a medical.

Best player in the Champ last season and got 20 goals in 27 for Watford.

Can he cut it in the Prem? Time will tell but I like this signing. Took a look on a Watford forum earlier and they believe we are getting some player! They actually said he'll be at a top club eventually.

He's also something a little different to our other strikers and will increase competition in that area. Apparently the deal will be a loan. Udinese will only sell for over £10 million Udinese want him but he's apparently desperate for a return to England.

Anelka and Rosenberg look to be reall linking up well in pre season and both are scoring goals galore. Think they'll start next week. Everyone knows how good Shane Long is and young Berahino will be buzzing after getting his Eng u21 call up. Add Vydra to this and I'm more than happy with our striker options. Especially bearing in mind that some of the time we will only be playing 1 up top.

We still need more though. Clarke said he felt 'anxious' after yesterday's win. He said ideally we'd have 2 more coming I'm before Saturday, but mentioned he'd love 3.

Scott Sinclair is still on the cards but talks are still on going between the clubs.

Kalou won't happen now though. He wants to stay in France.
