Fight with team-mates
It's an extreme measure but does happen. At one club, the players knew I wanted to leave but some started to get a little upset at my antics. There was some unrest in the changing room.
One day, I had a big argument with the goalkeeper. He came over to me, had a right go and grabbed me by the throat. I got up, we scuffled and he ended up with a cut lip after my head came into contact with his face.
Savage is surely one of the worst but it is yet another reminder that footballers are just big, overpaid, immature children. Yet again I find myself thinking what a great guy someone like Doyle is.

Radio 5Live and TMS producers decided to widen the net and try to pinch some of the fish from Talk Sport's waters.
Tufnell (who is brilliant) did not fulfil the criteria of 'ladish oaf' that they were hoping for, but Vaughan is close enough - he is a parody of some jingoistic Sun reading white van man.

I think the worst thing about this is that the BBC have posted it. What a pointless article and a bad example for any younger players coming through. Although most of them will already know that savage is a twaț so it doesn't really matter

I thought the article was slightly tongue-in-cheek.
I quite like Savage as a pundit as he doesn't trot out the same platitudes as most ex-players. I think that he was an annoying dislikeable player and people can't see past that.

I disagree Rog.
He WAS an irritating, whining, annoying and not very good player.
However I can ignore that entirely and still come to the conclusion that he is an irritating, whining, annoying and not very good pundit.
