Is Stoke at home the easiest fixture we could hope for?
They were pretty awful away last season and will certainly be looking at a transition season as they try to steer away from they overly physical style of play.
A lot of people predict them to go down as well.
Considering playing promoted teams on the opening day can be tricky, I think we've got a fantastic chance to get a good start to the season.
Mind you I said the same about the West Brom game last season
What do you think?

Yes they are a poor team, we should be up for it and try not to get into a physical game with them. Early goal always helps. Good start is essential and we haven't had one for a few years

If they beat you tomorrow this will look bad

On paper, Stoke at home is certainly a nice fixture to start with.
Hopefully, we will still be saying this after the game tomorrow.

My apologies I did not mean to seem arrogant in anyway.
I meant to say it as on paper of all matches you could choose on the opening day, would Stoke at home be the easiest you could imagine.
Not saying it will be easy but on paper I think it's best to get a transition team early on.

Stoke has been one of the hardest fixtures for us the last few years. They are so hard to break down, particularly away from home. I think because we are missing Suarez and Sturridge itll be 0-0.

4-0.

I think they will miss Tony Pulis more than they realise. Hopefully, especially after the game tomorrow. It is too difficult to predict the result. We can only ask our team to play their hearts out and secure a win. Nothing less.

When it's 2-0 I'll start to relax
