Be true to yourself.........

......when revealing your thoughts on our potential signings.

I sometimes get the feeling people on here aren't being true to themselves, and others, about their opinions on these players.

It does look like we will be signing Fellaini and Baines. I am not enthralled, but I'm sure they'll grow on me. ................ In time. Maybe.

I sometimes wonder if people say they are happy with the signings just because they feel it's inevitable we'll get them; and not because they truly want them.

How we could do with a Brian Robson in this midfield.

And England.

My phone changed it. Didn't realise until you pointed it out.

VC, but we've got Steven Gerrard.

Ah, the old phone excuse

From my perspective,

Baines would improve you guys a lot and I think that would be a good signing. Fellaini, I honestly don't think will improve you that much and I think the money could be better spent.

The City fan part of me from a rivals perspective would quite like you to sign them as it weakens Everton (who always do well against us!) and I don't think it massively strengthens you. I also don't think Everton will sell cheaply due to how close to the end of the transfer window it is in terms of getting replacements and the fact they are arguably their two best players.

I get why Moyes would want players he has used before, particularly with Baines, I just don't see Fellaini as CL standard at all, which for me is who you guys should be going after (40 million bid for Fabregas would surely have got Barcelona thinking a bit more about it...?)

I'm going to start saying Stephen Gerrard. See it the Scousers get wound up.

For all Stevie can do for the dips, he just has never been good enough to lace Robbo's boots.

Dazza, that should do the trick.

and who is usually the stand out players when they do well against you?

Agreed, VC.

Ji Sung,

Depends in which game. Everton against us, all of their players played well. Your former player (Gibson) had the best game last year and Fellaini should have given a penalty away. The year before, absolutely Fellaini . Ultimately, our undoing against Everton was mainly down to Mancini's tactics for me!

Not sure I get your point though?

I will be glad to have Fellaini as he is better than any of our current CM options.

The probem a lot of people on here have is they have been lead to believe by Moyes and Woodward that we are capable of getting the best when clearly we are not.

Im not impressed at all with Woodwards handling of the window so far.

He tells the world we can afford £70m for the right player

Makes Everton a take it or leave it £12m offer for Baines

Spends weeks having 2 bids rejected for a player that doesnt want the move

Fly's home on urgent transfer business that comes to nothing.

Goes back to Everton with effectivley the same bid as the earlier rejected take it or leave it offer

Pi55es of Everton big time by lodging an appalling bid for their best player 2 weeks before the window closes.

His next move? Who knows. We will probably end up paying stupid money for Baines and Fellaini or gazumping Arsenal on Cabaye for £15m
