Turan is obviously a better fit for us right now than Muniain.

We need an experienced winner to add to the team. That is Turan.

26, at his peak, 60 odd caps for his country.

Muniain might be a better player on three or four years, but we need a top player now, not another kid, we have enough of those.

Muniain is not a Coutinho who will be cheap for his quality. Bilbao will likely want £20m the same price as Turan. That's a very expensive risk for a player who had a pretty poor season, he was also poor in the U21's for Spain, and the Olympics before that. He is hot headed and while he might be brilliant there is a far bigger risk that he could be an expensive mistake.

Turan is a consistent, solid player and competitor. He doesn't really have the goals return we want to add, maybe 8 a season, but he is a consistent assister and clever player.

We won't sign either I doubt, but we certainly need a Turan more than we need a Muniain.

Muniain is a much better player than Turan, I have no idea how anyone you could possibly think other wise.

One poor season was due to being played out of position and pretty much having the entire attacking threat of his team placed on his shoulders..

From the age of 16 has been playing regularly in the Bilbao first team and doing so at an extremely high level. The only thing he lacks is goal.

At 20 he is already an experienced player and is good as anything on the planet on the at same age group. He has played nearly 200 games at 20. I bet Messi hadn't done that.

In my opinion he is better than Isco and Gotze and if he scored more so would everyone else.

And you will never get Muniain for £20m, Bilbao wont even talk to you until £35 - £40 is on the table. Money is of no use to them, its not like they can go out and spend it.

There is absolutely no evidence to suggest that.

What evidence do I need apart from my eyes.

Or do you need stats, expert opinion and media hype to decide what players are the best.

I suggest you re watch Muniain humiliating the Utd, Real or Barca defence to educate yourself how good he is.

Taarabt can humiliate defences once in a blue moon.

It's consistency that makes great players.

Isco and Gotze are both massively more consistent than Muniain.

He might add that to his game and then he will be in there bracket, but until he does then your comparison makes you look silly.

But that's the thing Muniain has been consistently excellent for four years, since he was 16.

He just does not play for a great team and as a result does not get the exposure he deserves.

He played more centrally last season which does not suit him, think he played as a striker a bit as well.

I think he is the second best dribbler of a ball behind Messi In Spain. If Muniain adds 15 - 20 goals a season to his game he will be a superstar.

Don't forget Isco has only had one great season and has played under half the games Muniain has.

Watched Bilbao las night a Muniain was very good as usual.
