I don't write much on here but im bored on a train. When Liverpool need a winger they bought downing. He wasn't good enough but he was available. What would SAF of done... He would of waited until he found someone else. Same with arsenal sign podolski.
United need one world class player to be a exceptional team. We have the money to buy said player. I'd rather wait 2 weeks, 6 months or a year and get exceptional player. Motes is trying to buy player (s) which will make us on a par with barca if this doesn't happen this year then so be it... I'd rather wait then just sign anyone.
Patience Moyes is on the verge of making us great hopefully this year but mayb not! We r man united bring it on!!

on some level it's a reasonable article but naive at the same time.
Extremely few clubs have the luxury of waiting. United are one who can. Pretty much everyone else has to take more chances trying to play catch up.

In the past 5 seasons we've made 2 finals, got knocked out by a silly red card decision and then to Bayern when Rooney busted his ankle.
We've only had one dodgy season but Real Madrid had season after season where they didn't even make the quarters and that's with MASSIVE investment!
