The mighty Southampton nearly £38m. ! !

The three promoted sides combined £28m

Even bloody Norwich nearly £22m

What the hell is going on with my beloved club ?

FSG have got until 2/9/13 to pull their bloody fingers out.

I don't want to hear their next repeated statement "We have the money to purchase the best if we require them" etc, etc.

Well WE do BLOODY need them.

Speculate to Accumulate.

Try and show some flamin' ambition

Man City looked very good v Newcastle. - Champions in my book.

Red 5. When you produce knee jerk pearls of wisdom such as this, how do you expect to be taken seriously?

#################################

They did !

----------------
So going by your own logic, I assume you now have City as relegation fodder, seeing as they lost to a newly promoted side?

My logic ?

I made a comment on what I saw. (City v Newcastle)

I created this article as to what I've seen so far in this transfer window.

Problem with that ?

i dont consider my a wum ...

but to be honest this transfer window has been much to do about nothing .
as the above lads said , we dont have the finances to compete ..and if people think that this squad has the depth to finish ahead of the gunners or spurs then you are dreaming ....

i am hoping studge and suarez hit the ground running when they are paired back together

Ok, Term where do you think (just guess) as to where we are right now with this team / squad.

Are you happy ?
Do you think it needs improving ?
Do you think we need to sell anyone?
Do you think other teams have improved, more or less than us ?
Do you think we will finish higher than last year ?
If yes, at the expense of who / whom ?

Thoughts ?

the cheque book has been out and wide open. 3 players we went for in the £25-30mil range and they all went to CL clubs instead

we're just not a club worth joining for top players

20million spent for no return in jan = -16million

3 times we have tried to sign players over 25million who have turned us down, one of thos ewould have meant = -41 million

We have also been in for a CB, we went to 12million for papa = a potential -53million spend.

FSG have provided the money, people just wont come here, its been 3? years since we left the CL? finishing 7th 6th 8th 7th ??

Some idiots on here make me want to rip my eyeballs out so i dont have to read this shít anymore.

Thats sums the situation up. But the question has to be why don't players want to come here? Maybe Spurs are overpaying and we refuse to. That seems sensible now but will that still be the case if Spurs get into the CL?

posted on 29/8/13

Other than Soldado, Spurs haven't signed anyone 'big'

we went for players too good for us and ones who had CL options on offer

so they snubbed us for the better team
