What an amazing couple of days it's been, eh Gooners?
I know we're a bit short in terms of depth, but quality wise, we're right up there. At the end of the day you can't have world class players in every single position, it simply doesn't work like that.
We've just signed one of the best players in world football, think about that for a second!
Szczesny
Sagna Per Kos Gibbs
Ramsey Arteta/Flamini/Wilshere
Walcott Ozil Santi
Giroud
Quality in all areas.
Amazing

Bendtner could be so good though I've always liked him.
I don't know why, but Wilshere's very possible exclusion from the first team is making me feel uneasy. England golden boy and all that. Guess it'll improve him

Hope Ozil can work on his fitness. Don't remember him ever completing 90 minutes at Madrid and the pace of English football is so much faster.

looks like Arsene' s knowledge of multiple languages came to extreme use in this deal. what a man. ..
can't believe some of the rage my United mates are on....so spoilt. ... they'd commit suicide if they had been arsenal fans in the last five years

“While talking with Arsène Wenger I immediately felt what I had missed at last,” Özil said. “This is 100 per cent faith in me. I want to help this club to finally win titles again.
“I am thrilled to be joining a club of the stature of Arsenal. It will be great for my own personal development as a player.”

Ozil is a ridiculously good signing but I don't think we've got enough to challenge for the title and will end up a fair way behind the pace in the end.
At least it's a move in the right direction though and this team could and should definitely improve naturally over time given the age of most of the players. A smart summer next season and we really could be back in the big time.
