A striker would've been nice. We have some depth, but maybe not the quality in that depth.
Can't fault the job to get Ozil in though. Outstanding.
Just thinking of ozil and cazorla linking up, can't stop getting excited about that
I'd go for Arteta personally.
Seriously, we must be able to completely dominate the midfield now.
We've got plenty of depth in midfield, just a bit short at the back and especially upfront. Luckily Giroud has an amazing injury record.
Lots of creativity and pace, with an ever improving defence. Players like Ox and Poldi will be back to.
Should have got another striker in, but Walcott and Podolski can both play the striker role and we'll have The Ox back as well.
I'm actually pleased for you Gooners. After years of paying the most expensive tickets and seeing nothing in return, years of selling your best players, years of penny pinching, I'm actually pleased for you that you've finally gone and spent loads of money and bought a world class player (and that player wasn't Suarez)
Looking forward to seeing Ozil play in the PL.
Still a disappointing window as we didn't make the necessary signings. Desperately needed another forward. However Ozil will take us to another level and his signing will put us back on the map, it will be easier to sign quality players in the future after they see the statement of intent we have just made.
Striker would have topped it of big time.
We're a world class striker away from being a great team and a defender just for depth. Flamini could end up being one of the best signings, he looked so hungry and he's got that attitude we needed in midfield.
I don't understand though, why did Madrid let Ozil go? Fans loved him, he was fantastic for them, linked very well with Ronaldo, was always their best player vs Barca in the clasicos etc etc.
Kamran
We should go for Suarez in January.
Ozil is one of the best players in the world, he wants to be playing every minute of every game, Madrid couldn't guarantee him that although he probably would've still started most games if he stayed, but he probably wanted to be the 'main man' somewhere.
I agree that we're a bit short in terms of depth, but honestly, it's hard to complain after signing a player like Mesut!
Problem is if Giroud gets injured, Ozil will go from supplying the likes of Roanldo to trying to set up Sanogo

We should thank our lucky stars.
Oh look Castor still facking moaning. Lighten up you
Sanogo will score 30+ with Ozil feeding him through balls
Madrid were too poor and needed money. Luckily, we can offer cash up front
Respected you have to give up on Suarez he said it himself today he's happy to stay at Liverpool throw ozil in your name now
Even Sanogo would scored 30 a season with Cazorla, Ozil and Walcott behind him.
Giroud has a great injury record though.
Listen Im still shocked we have signed someone like Ozil.
However, a striker was a must especially with pod out until November
Theo can play upfront tbf.
We've got Rosicky, Chambo, Wilshere etc fighting for places in the first XI. That's unreal depth in that area.
We did need another option up front. Giroud is amazing, but we need one more...
Remember how good Zelalem was in pre-season <3
Zelalem is mustard. Future world class player.
I'm buzzing man. Gonna watch Ozil videos all night.
We're back!!!!
