Flamini's given so much balance to our centre mid options, I really loved what I saw from him yesterday.

I didn't say he'll struggle.

I said he'd have far less impact on the game then he would in the centre. Which is fine 'cos we'll have Ozil... maybe I'm being a ponce

He won't struggle. He's just better centrally. It doesn't matter though, we have two world class players playing alongside each other. They'll rotate and compliment eachother brilliantly.

I swear this buzz is too much man. Can't waiiiit for Sunderland. I think Mesut will be on the bench though

The only thing Fellaini has over Flamini is aerial strength.

Must say I was against the signing of Flamini, but he showed immense passion yesterday. His tackle on Rose had me shouting my head off. If he plays with that kind of attitude all season...then

Btw Verm is back after the international break

Ozil and Santi I'd imagine will swap and roam. He'll still get in the game.

Arseblog summed it up perfectly, hold on, let me find the quote:

"The second half began in cagey fashion with Flamini booked for a strong, but fair, challenge on some píss-drinking wánkblaster"

Competition in every position!

Will Park and Bendtner play a role for us?

We have to play Sanogo over Bendtner, really don't want to see the play for us again.

Bendtner might in cup games

Bendtner could be so good though I've always liked him.

I don't know why, but Wilshere's very possible exclusion from the first team is making me feel uneasy. England golden boy and all that. Guess it'll improve him

Hope Ozil can work on his fitness. Don't remember him ever completing 90 minutes at Madrid and the pace of English football is so much faster.

looks like Arsene' s knowledge of multiple languages came to extreme use in this deal. what a man. ..

can't believe some of the rage my United mates are on....so spoilt. ... they'd commit suicide if they had been arsenal fans in the last five years

“While talking with Arsène Wenger I immediately felt what I had missed at last,” Özil said. “This is 100 per cent faith in me. I want to help this club to finally win titles again.

“I am thrilled to be joining a club of the stature of Arsenal. It will be great for my own personal development as a player.”

Ozil is a ridiculously good signing but I don't think we've got enough to challenge for the title and will end up a fair way behind the pace in the end.

At least it's a move in the right direction though and this team could and should definitely improve naturally over time given the age of most of the players. A smart summer next season and we really could be back in the big time.
