Who has the better midfield?

Ozil >>>> Mata+Hazard+Oscar

It's not even a contest. The only player I would take from their AM line up is Ozil.

I would like to find out what the fans of other clubs think from here?

If I had to make a front 4 from the 2 clubs I would go for,
Eto'o
Hazard Ozil Oscar

Oscar and Walcott is close, both bringing different strengths, but I believe Oscar will work well with Ozil and Hazard and that midfield 3 can all interchange. Ozil and Mata again is a very close one, in a free role I will choose Mata every time, that guy is a master at finding pockets of space to use to be devastating, but with Ozil you're getting a player who is pacey, with a high work ethic that can be effective in a defensive situation, and is not too shabby as a playmaker . Therefore like Mourinho would probably think, Ozil will be better for the team.

Upfront I went with Eto'o purely because I do not rate Giroud or Torres, and Ba has just not had the best 6 months, so a player who has done well in every team and league he has been to gets the nod ahead.

My Gooner mate has convinced himself that Arsenal will now finish above Chelsea due to Ozil signing

I am not a big fan of Walcott but his stats are far, far more impressive than Willian in a better league.

Willian is better technically than Walcott, but that's about it. Walcott, i would hazard a guess, will probably be better in most other stats.

But overall Chelsea's midfield is far superior. Not even close. We're just happy a World Class player like Ozil has joined us.

To be honest as i neutral I would take Arsenal's midfielders over Chelsea's any day of the week.

Particularly the deeper lying two, Chelsea's are awful.

And im sorry Ozil is much better than Mata, the only Madrid player i feared when Barca played them was Ozil. He not Ronaldo got them the few good result they had.

Walcott should not even be mentioned in the same conversation as the other players mentioned,he is just another over rated english player,Mata,hazard,oscar,carzola are all class the rest are just making up the numbers on the thread here

sorry forgot ozil just add him to that list and that's it ramsey,ramires,schrulle and walcott are half decent players and that's about it
