Kranjcar's interview

This is a short version of Kranjcar's interview for the Croatian sports magazine:

- On his current status in the club: "At the moment there is a status quo. President (Levy) has put out the price tag of 11 mills, which puts off any interested parties right at the start. This is way too much money to be payed for a player in my situation. I am being realistic enough to admit that I cannot compete with Bale on left wing. No one can - he is that good. I would be very pleased with the first-sub status, so I am guaranteed to step in when Bale - or some other midfielder - is injured and cannot play. Tottenham has a wide choice of outstanding players, and being 13th or 14th player in such a team isn't so bad after all."

- His view on Harry's constant praise: "ha, it would be better if he would praised me less, and give me more playtime. (laugh...)"

- On his future: "I feel I might get more chance to play in the next season. I had a few very good performances in preseason friendlies, and if I continue to play at that level I think I'll earn my position in the team. Apart from the fact that Tottenham - being a great club - satisfies my footballing ambitions, I really do like living in London. In fact, I like London so much I'm thinking of living here when my career ends."
