So it sounds like he is staying after all
Disagree with him though, he IS worth £11 million, especially if you look around at some of the transfers that have happened so far...Adam £7 million, Henderson £20 million etc
If nothing else Niko seems like a very down to earth, decent bloke.

Good point, i didn't think of that! Im sure he knows deep down his price tag is spot on
That attitude is exactly the sort all of our players should have. This interview is a great one for Kranjcar as it shows how modest, ambitious and LOYAL he is. He accepts he's not first choice and never will be while Bale is here, and yet still talks about nailing down to hard work and earning his squad place. Good on him
Niko
Give him some game time Harry FFS <GRR>
Really like Niko as a player, he may not have as much flair as some players but he is much more direct than most of our midfield. Less tippy tappy more goals.
forget our rubbish strikers, lets have a midfield of 6!
Bale...Niko..Van Der Vaart..Thudd..Modric..Lennon
whoever's furthest forward on any given attack temporarily becomes the striker
Niko is looking at what we bought him for in relation to what Levy is quoting for him. Its not as simple as that.
I do wonder how Niko feels about Ratboy being valued at 3 times (or more) his value. I don't think he's 3 times the player but it seems to be a contractual matter of principle with Levy.
Love this interview! Niko is a hero in my eyes
He should and willl be given gametime (I sound like a yank) next season! Europa and Carling cup! maybe an eye in the shop window
Lobsters,

Just tap it in.. give it a little tap tap.. taparoo
I see no one has mentioned that Niko is one attractive fella

Niko's problem last season was that he got injured, was a fringe player and he needs that game time to look sharp and be at his best. When he is not he looks a bit immobile and slow in body and mind which is no good, especially in CM.
He has played as much as anyone pre season and looks in decent form. If he starts, or is more involved from the start of the season he can be a very useful player.
If he gets 10 minutes every 3 weeks then we will never seem him at his best and it would be better to move.
Harry needs to make better use of his squad this season but its hard because who do you take off/drop...Bale (can win a game in a moment, even in the 93rd minute) Modric (key to everything we do) Lennon (Niko's worst position) VDV (doesn't like being subbed)
I would like him to play a bigger role this year but at least he realises that we do have a talented midfield so he may have to bide his time.
I understand what he means about his value as yes I would rate him at £11m as a week in week out starting 11 player and compared to Henderson etc but as a underused sub I reckon the market rate for him would probably be nearer £8m
Devon - Good points on Harry rotating the squad more this season, last year we suffered from not doing this in the last few months of the season, everyone looked worn out
I can see Niko starting pretty much every Europa League game and many of the Cup games
Was kind of fed up watching Spurs and waiting for our first substitution in the 75th minute (every game), especially if we were losing! Harry use the SUBS
Niko is quality & a decent bloke!! So glad he wants to stay as he is an amazing player to have as first sub
Happy
Why can't Harry drop Lennon for one or two games, and play Bale on the right? Or if not, VDV becomes NEW STRIKER and Kranjcar plays just behind
