Dundee Utd

First league home game this weekend bhoys

Aberdeen was tricky, Edinburgh is never an easy place to go for the first game of the season either, but I personally think this will be our toughest game of the season yet. United look alright so far, they beat Hearts at tynecastle that will give them confidence.

Who would you start? I have heard the keeper is pretty much a done deal so heres my team

GK – G Sandaskmo…. (spelling, polish number 1)

RB – Mark Wilson (is he fit? If not Matthews)
CB – K Wilson
CB – Dan
LC – Chuck

LM - Commons
CM – Kayal
CM – Ledley
RM – Broon

ST – Hooper
ST - Stokes

Celtic 3 - 1

Whats your predictions?

Agree 100% Dan should be a back up player and even then I am not sure on that, cost us league at Inverness, also Charlie Bhoy, sorry but this guy is hot and cold and again major question mark over him being in the team.

agree with forrest getting more game time as he has looked as though he may be able to push on from last season.
think mccourt is going to be the guy lennon throws on when he is chasing the 3 points and needs someone who can do something a bit different

Isn't Brown still serving a ban?

Wilson----Wilson--Mulgrew----Ledley

Brown-------Kayal-------Ki------Commons

------------Hooper-----------Stokes

Definitely start Ki. Ledley at LB instead of Matthews because Ledley is a natural right footer. Mulgrew at CB because his form since the return has been outstanding.

sorry Ledley is a natural left footer.

Bhoyzilla-good to know you are aboard shipmate!

DU are pretty rock at the back.I'd drop Hoops and bring in yon big Irish fermer Murphy.

As for the Sion game-play for a draw, shut up shop and all that.

I like Mulgrew as a CB he seems much more at home there. I agree with most folks comments on big Danny. He can have a good game and clear his lines but he is caught for pace all the time and has anyone seen him header a ball forwards instead of up?

I'm not a fan of Cha and ideally I'd like to see him sold. So Matthews at RB for me as Brown will give more support than Commons and up at A'deen it showed that he needs some cover. Wilson will be fine at LB. Mulgrew and K. Wilson as CBs.

I really like Forrest and hope he can push on from last season, he has pace to burn and is a tricky little player. Paddy's downfall is his fitness.

HelpMordorPolis, good to see you boss.

Sion are in the midst of a financial crisis from what I here. They've got a transfer embargo going on at the moment apparently.

And on Brown again...I thought he was still unavailable until after the game at the weekend....Maybe I'm wrong though. Can anybody confirm?
