First home game as a season ticket holder. I can barely contain mysel.
For me Ki has to play, he was one of our best players at Pittodrie and at Easter Road, I reckon Ledley will drop oot and Broon will come in. The rest of the team pretty much as you said. Zaluska will start though, Can't drop a keeper who hasn't conceded a goal and has looked solid so far in the league.
Zaluska will start. He's not a favourite of mine but, he hasn't done anything untoward in games of note and, Sandomierski cannot play against, Sion
Ledley before, Ki???? No!
Gav, yep Ledley out. Ki and Broon in.
Don't do predictions.
Ledley before Brown!
Out of curiosity, can Ledley also play LB?
No but he quite often plays the "Invisible Man".
Is the goalkeeping scenario really a done deal? I do not think so. So I believe Zaluska will start.

He can, but chuck is more natural. I like Ledley but I'd rather the most natural and confident for that particular postion
Aye fair point about Zaluska.
KI is the best passer of the ball at Celtic.

Team for Sion away:

K.Wilson
Mulgrew
Brown
Wanyama

Ledley

Hooper/Samaras
Ki has to start, but I would keep Ledley in and put Brown Sub, which I think Lennon will do this.
Very tough game and just hope we start making more of our chances, Stokes is scoring, but would like to see Hooper score, as that penalty miss may be playing on his mind.
Dundee Utd won't have Goodwille which I think is a massive miss for them, but still a good team, I am going to say a close game and Celtic to win 2-1
first home game of a new season and i cant wait till saturday.
would have ki as my first pick in mid field and commons on the left as he looks half the player when he is on the right.
bit worried about mulgrew as a left back as i think a pacy winger could rip him a new one ( esp if sion have such a player)
i also would prefer him to partner wilson as i think he is our best option at the moment
In the Sion game away is a game in which I feel Samaras may start. Yet it is depending on the score: if we are winning from the home leg then we should protect what we have; if not I would go with Hooper and Stokes. We gave away seven goals in two away European games last year: which was unacceptable. We must be better defensively and I would adopt the same tactics we used at Ibrox.
Lostboys (Y) Agree 100% with you.
Would also like to see Forrest get at least 20 mins on the pitch as well.
hoop i'd prefer to see both forrest and paddy get 20 mins all being well with the game.
it's a shame we can't find a place for mccourt
Mccourt is a player I believe we should keep. He can change games and is one of the only few players who can actually make an impact whilst coming off the bench. The likes of the Dundee United game at Tannadice, or the Inverness game away on the opening day of the season proves he can make a difference.
as for the left back position mark wilson can play there. cha or matthews can play rb which realeases chuck to play beside k wilson.
sorry but for me dan is an accident waiting to happen each game
Does anyone know if Thomas Rogne is back yet? He is a great young player and it is terrible what has happened to him and his family.
When Matthews signed I seem to remember reading that he could play either side w/back.
Keep M.Wilson on the right, and try the new guy on the left.
polbethian
Agree 100% Dan should be a back up player and even then I am not sure on that, cost us league at Inverness, also Charlie Bhoy, sorry but this guy is hot and cold and again major question mark over him being in the team.
agree with forrest getting more game time as he has looked as though he may be able to push on from last season.
think mccourt is going to be the guy lennon throws on when he is chasing the 3 points and needs someone who can do something a bit different
Isn't Brown still serving a ban?

Definitely start Ki. Ledley at LB instead of Matthews because Ledley is a natural right footer. Mulgrew at CB because his form since the return has been outstanding.
sorry Ledley is a natural left footer.
