You want to argue that Soldado has been better than Defoe this season?

MUST make the most of being on top.....you were always gonna have a spell in the game....

but coming back from 2 down is hard for any side....

Soldado needs to step up, end of story. Needs to produce

Defoe always starts the season well and always fades as the season goes on.

Whilst he hasn't been scoring Soldado has been good with clever movement and link up play. He needs more time to gel with the team, putting him on the bench isn't going to help this.

So Soldado starts for me

If you ever followed Soldado in La Liga, you wouldn't be surprised. He's never been the best of link-up players, a reason the Spanish coach never really liked him and would rather play Torres, Negredo, Fabregas, Silva or Pedro in the striking role ahead of him.

We do follow la liga sheriff, the point is he's not doing what he's good at atm - scoring goals

I agree Defoe should start games. I am a fan of Soldado but not jumping on the love-in bandwagon. Your points are valid RC
