What is the latest news regarding injuries? DId anyone pick up anything on International duty? I know van Persie is a doubt.
How do you think we will line up? Adnan, I believe, should keep his place, he should be nice and fresh to run at the opposition and give some directness to our attacking play. Defensively I'm not sure, is Vidic fit? How about Ferdinand?
This would be my team.
De Gea
Rafael
Smalling
Vidic
Evra
Carrick
Cleverley
Nani
Kagawa
Januzaj
Rooney
This is taking into account RVP has a knock and Welbeck played 90 minutes midweek, However, I doubt Kagawa will play, and expect Valencia or Welbeck in his place.
Team v Southampton?

Kaz, I think Jones will probably play.
But I do think that without Carrick, any midfield we put out against Southampton will struggle.

I dont see the need for Vidic given Southampton's style of play, would rather quicker CBs. Smalling, Jones or Evans for me. Especially considering Vidic's form.
Think Fellaini would be needed because of their closing down game. He is a hard fella to get the ball from.

If Carrick Fellaini and Clevs are out, I'm gonna get my boots out and get to OT early. Might get a game

They aren't out though

Starting Fellaini and Carrick in midfield is asking for bum rapage.

Agreed. This Southampton side know how to move the ball around and having Fellaini in the team isn't exactly going to help much seeing as Cleverley is much more mobile.
This is going to be a very tough game in my opinion!

If what is being reported about RVP, Carrick and Cleverley missing today's game is true, then I'd go with this:
De Gea
Rafael/Smalling/Evans/Evra
Jones/Fellaini
Nani/Kagawa/Januzaj
Rooney
