Hey chaps.
What with all the debate about Vettel, I thought that it was interesting to see the views of F1 legend Sterling Moss :

He reckons that Vettel is on another level to Hamilton and Button, compares him to Fangio, and describes him as "quite outstanding".
High praise indeed.

agreed micheal was a little older in his " 2nd career " with merc but the fact that rosberg blew him off at mercedes is an indicator as to how good he actually was without the multitude of manufactured advantages he enjoyed in his first career -

personally i'd say that's a bit harsh martial.
reckon he was some way past his best with merc.
his ferrari was vastly more dominant than the current red bull though, but for me michael's wet drives mark him out as a top driver. better than senna + prost is just ridiculous though.

yeh -- you could be right , but micheal would have made sure he was at peak fitness when he came back and the cars get easier to drive as the technology and sophistication improves every season so i was expecting alot more from micheal ,
i hear what you are saying about the age thing , when you look in depth at his first career and all the tyre advantages , team orders , rory byrne bespoke chassis advantages , unlimited testing because ferrari had there own track ,weak driver era , etc his domination was not hard to understand and when he had none of those advantages in his merc career to some extent i believe he was found out -
agree with you about prost and senna , after watching all 3 drivers complete careers micheal to me was a couple of levels beneath those two ,
must admit he was never to shabby in the wet in his early ferrari days mainly because williams at the time very often flucked up on there choice of tyres at the time which obviously made micheal look good -
to get micheals wet weather talent into perspective , senna had an inferior mclaren in 93 with an underpowered ford engine and active suspension that never worked properly until portugal which was 3 races from the end and he decimated micheal in all 3 of the wet races that year ,
so to be honest for me it was very hard to judge exactly how good micheal actually was because his career was one of so many manufactured advantages --

Noodles(U18740) is J.P.B. Returning.
I knew he could not resist the desperation to amuse himself by being annoying and then getting laughed at on the Spurs section of JA606 only to then pop over to the F1 section to get more of the same. Eventually, both Admins will again run out of patience with him.
He should not have wasted his energy when an episode of Dads Army would have been funnier.
Well, he managed so far to last 2 days. Will he last 3?
I think it is best to take POB's advice and just filter him.
I will now filter JPB and therefore not be able to view his edit to correct the title of his article.

Again it's re-writing history. 7 World Championships & rebuilding a broken Ferrari team mean nothing because as a 41-year-old in a duff car he couldn't hack it.
Schumacher was the best, Vettel is currently the best. Deal with it.

well done -- you have managed to be obnoxious and insulting to another forum member that did absolutely nothing to provoke you except post a harmless and interesting topic about vettel and stirling moss -
