this is imo the players to take us forward this season.
Best keeper -
Cech
no contest this year.
Best defenders -
Ivanovic, Cahill, Terry, Bertrand
the most solid defenders that actually defend.
Best midfielders -
Ramires Oscar Lampard for tough opposition, defensive games
Ramires, Mata, Hazard for easier opposition, attacking games
they are all creative through the middle in attack and defend when required.
Best attacking wide men -
Willian, Schurrle
Direct in attack, press high and track back when required
Best striker -
Torres
Best of the trio when his mind is on it, until Lukaku comes back
.............................Cech
Ivanovic........Cahill...........Terry..........Bertrand
......Ramires....Oscar/Mata.....Lampard/Hazard
Willian...................Torres.....................Schurrle
Luis - liability at the back and not a midfielder, squad player this season but sell after the World Cup unless great improvement.
All other squad members are just that and will all play a part in the many comps we are pushing to win this season.

All I can say is that if Luis is in the team I fear for a clean sheet, but not with Cahill/ Terry

Cstp
That's why I've chosen 2 true wide men that would open up a defence rather that clogging up the centre attacking area

Luiz is simultaneously our best and worst CB, for me. Right now his form isn't good but I'm sure it'll improve. When it does, he'll be a definite starter
----------------------------------------------------------------------
Terry is and has always been a better defender then Luiz

Schurrle is a squad player at best and wouldn't have Lampard starting every game anymore.
Somewhere near our best team:
Cech
Azpi Luiz Terry Bertrand
Mikel Ramires
Willian/Mata Oscar Hazard
Eto'o/Torres

Luis has never impressed, apart from a a few moments in a few games, Cahill is much more solid.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
No he's not you must miss the countless amount of times Cahill plays strikers onside because he's incapable of holding the offside trap when a pass is played behind the defence or when he backs off ad infinitum et ultra against any striker that decides to dribble against him

I can turn Cahill and fool him with a dummy or two. Its so easy to fool him.
