Buy Out

It feels to me as though we're being primed to be sold. I think currently the only thing stopping a potential buy our from someone is the stadium.

If you take into account all of Levy's trip to America and NFL teams coming over. The way that it seems we're being grown as a brand, with us being referred to as just "Spurs" instead of Tottenham more & more.

I think it's a big possibility that once the new stadium is built someone will want to buy us. Whether we end up with super rich but not crazy money poured in (like Arsenal and arguably us now), an incompetent nut job like Vincent Tan at Cardiff or a Oil rich slightly dodgy guy like at Chelsea / Man City.

What would you think? Would you want us to become a rich brought team like City and Chelsea? Would you prefer it to stay as it is?

Would you even just enjoy the random mad destruction roller-coaster that would be a mad Vincent Tan type owner just "for the lols"?

No thanks! Don't want to see our shirt colour changed to something of favour with the owner, especially if that also ends up being red.

And we already have an original name (Hotspur) so we do not need a Hull City Tigers style rebrand.

There is only one HOTSPUR but plenty of Uniteds, Citys, Rovers, Towns etc

It would fill me with horror that our club could be brought by a rich ruskie or arab and just used as a plaything like Chelsea and City. I am quite happy our club is run as it is, plenty of money to spend without overspending and being vulgar with the money like City and Chelsea.

Tbh, it does annoy me that we are known as Spurs on Fifa etc, as opposed to our proper name Tottingham Hotspurs.
