So this is who the Mirror are linking us to now.
Anyway if their is any truth in it what do you think.
Is this the kind of striker we're looking for.
I could see Wenger going for someone already in the ELP.

He aint no striker, let alone what we need.

Decent player. He's more of a winger for Southampton, mainly RW. So not what we need. I wouldn't say he's quite good enough for arsenal yet.

I would like to leave Southampton alone personally.
If they can keep their squad together for a couple of seasons, I can see Pochettino building a team to rival Spurs/Liverpool and push for top 4/top 5. It helps Arsenal to have more teams like Southampton taking points off our rivals.

Judging by Arsenals finishing position over the last 8-9 years I would have thought they would be more of a threat to you?

You are right, I was wrong to mention Liverpool (chronically finishing in 7th place). I should have said Spurs/Arsenal.
I think we all know that when Suarez flies the roost Liverpool are back to being a solidly unspectacular team.
